Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These terms cover two things: using this website, and hiring me for freelance work. By browsing mohitdev.tech or submitting a project inquiry, you're agreeing to the terms below.
1. Using this site
- The site, its content, and design are owned by Mohit Kamboj unless otherwise credited.
- You're welcome to browse, share links to, and reference this site. Don't scrape, republish, or resell its content wholesale without asking first.
- The contact form, support ticket system, and testimonial form are provided for genuine inquiries — automated spam or abuse will get your submissions blocked (rate limits apply per IP).
2. Freelance project engagements
When you hire me for a project (web app, API, automation, bot, etc.), the following general terms apply unless a separate written contract says otherwise:
- Scope & quotes — pricing is project-based and quoted after understanding requirements. Changes to agreed scope may affect price and timeline.
- Payment — typically split as an upfront deposit and a final payment on delivery, agreed per project.
- Delivery — timelines are estimates communicated before work starts; I'll flag early if something is going to slip.
- Post-delivery support — every project includes 30 days of free bug fixes after delivery. This covers defects in delivered functionality, not new features.
- Source code & ownership — once paid in full, you own the custom code delivered for your project. Reusable internal tools/libraries I bring to the project remain mine.
- Third-party services — if your project depends on third-party APIs, hosting, or paid services, those costs and accounts are your responsibility unless agreed otherwise.
3. No guarantees beyond what's agreed
I build things carefully and stand behind my work, but I can't guarantee specific business outcomes (traffic, revenue, rankings, etc.) resulting from a delivered project — those depend on many factors outside the code itself.
4. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, I'm not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this site or delivered projects. My liability for any project is capped at the amount paid for that project.
5. Support tickets
The ticket system (/ticket) is for bug reports and support requests tied to delivered projects or this site. It's not a guaranteed-response-time SLA unless your contract states one.
6. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms occasionally; the "Last updated" date above will reflect that. Active project engagements are governed by whatever was agreed at the time, not retroactive changes here.
